Gender is not GENITALS!

Time and again this same dumb issue comes up, and every time you have to be reminded that gender is not genetics or genitals. You don’t get to just stand someone, child, teen, or adult, naked before the mirror and say “That’s who you are” no matter how much you wish to. Many cultures have acknowledged that there are more than two genders and that’s true even in some cases at the chromosomal level. If I have a XY with breasts and a vagina but no uterus or ovaries, am I really going to call them “Sir”? That’s highly doubtful and there are plenty of them, usually with large breasts, slim hips, great hair, and perfect skin wandering the earth today, AS GOD MADE THEM! The number of variations on XX and XY is more than a half dozen, but for the vast majority, being called a boy or a girl, man or a woman, will never be an issue.

As for the article, the point was that marriage should be between two people aged 18-years or older and nothing more. That is a legal contract between two adults with the state, before whom all should be equal, otherwise known as “equal rights”. The fact that it doesn’t fit the Adam and Eve nonsense, adam being the Hebrew word for man or mankind, and eve being the Hebrew word for life, doesn’t matter in terms of public policy. If Christianity can only accept XX and XY in a straight marriage, I’m good with that because that sounds like the faith petty little people would give to a petty little God…
